Rochelle Ballard

I am Rochelle Ballard, welcome to my website. I thrive on the ocean. It has given me abundance of life.  There is something special about the ocean.  Plunging into salt water  is cleansing, healing, inspiring, beautiful, and powerful.  The ocean can create a wave so powerful it can level a city, yet a fragile shell, that is as thin as paper can wash upon the shore in perfect shape and form.  I grew up on Kauai surrounded by gorgeous lush mountains and a beautiful blue ocean and waves.  It was a perfect playing field of all the abundance of earth and sea.  It was my passion as a young girl to surf as many waves around the world as  I could, experiencing traveling, culture, people, and all that came with the adventures.

Almost 25 years of traveling and surfing has cultured my surfing experience as well as  a successful career. Thousands of miles on planes, trains, cars, boats, buses, bikes, jet ski’s, and walking on cobble stone roads that have been there for hundreds of years.   I have felt the frustration of defeat one moment and then being in a bliss of victory the next moment.  Dropping in over the ledge of a ten foot barrel on shallow reef.   I’ve surfed perfect waves and sailed to sea’s where pirates have crossed through, and the next day walking in New York City for an interview and a car ride to a Long Island for a surf camp for girls.    I love sharing my experience and knowledge with kids.  There is so much to share with them and learn from what they have to share with us.

I left the tour at the end of the 2007 season to experience surfing and life in a new journey. Seeing a road of freedom and creativity full of new dreams and desires.  I was on the ASP World Championship Tour for 17 years. I am now enjoying life in the Islands and being inspired by my surfing in a whole new way. I now am living my life in the rhythm of where the swells take me and my heart guides me.  My journey with yoga, health, wellness, and dynamic living is more important than ever.  Sharing with my Ohana, friends, fans, clients, and any that I can by chance inspire some lightness and a smile from the heart.  Living my best life, being present, connected, and protected in unconditional love n light, as my good friend and light energy facilitator Kent Ewing shares with me so well.

Throughout my life I have been inspired by people, places, the ocean, the earth, the sky, art, dance, language, health, and energy. God has gifted me with abundance of life and fruit to share. I wish to share with you things that inspire, create, revive, and are alive! Enjoy and Namaste.
