...in a local society, politics, and economics. But it is also people with a common interest. We travel the world see and experience things that open our eyes make us really appreciate all of the abundance and beauty of nature and life as well as famine, growth, and waist in this world. It's the yin and the yang of life. We find ourselves being drawn back to certain communities enjoying friends, good times, sharing culture differences and similarities. Around the world there are people with the common interest of passion for conscious living and life with purpose. It is sharing our own local community and culture with each other no matter where you are or where you come from. Surfing is a unique and inspiring way to share with people and culture around the world. Some people think we are dancing in on the ocean. We are...

North shore, island living
From time to time, whether we are in the ocean or the mountains we will share with you experiences in our own community as well as traveling abroad, people we meet, culture, food, and little insights of healthy living, with yummy recipes, good things for your body, and good things to give back to the earth. For now i share with you a little peace of the north shore. In the islands the ocean is a big part of the culture and island living, weather you are fishing, diving, paddling, surfing, or just enjoying the beach with family and friends.
Enjoy and aloha, Rochelle

I want to share with you a piece of my community, the little treasures that make life fun, easy, and are good for the body and soul.
There are a couple of donation yoga classes that I love to be apart of. Paul is a yoga teacher and a surfer here on the North Shore. His class is great for surfers and is right at the Waimea Falls Park Pavilion. It's at 7:30am bright and early Monday-Friday. If you are fortunate enough, the Peacocks come prancing through the class and fluffing their gorgeous feathers. It's a beautiful place to experience yoga in the outdoor setting in the valley of Waimea.

This is held in the Wainberg Community Center in Waialua. This passed Haleiwa out toward Kae'na Point end of the North Shore.
They have a lot of classes to offer from Kids Yoga to Restorative Yoga. They even have Yoga for surfer's class. There are a variety of teachers and all amazing to work with. It is also a donation class. Go to their website for more information:

Here are a couple of my easy favorite dishes and beverages that restore and rejuvenate your body. These are good to have as part of your regular diet to make sure your getting the right nutrients and antioxidants. There are so many yummy foods in this world and dishes. It's one of my favorite things about traveling is trying different foods and waking up the tastes buds.
Of course there is the easy lazy bee solution. If you are lucky enough to catch the Smoothie Bus on the side of the road, get it while is cold! I love a good Sambazon Acai' Bowl! My flavor at the moment is at Paradise Found in the back corner of the health food store Celestial, in Haleiwa. They make this Tempeh Gyro that is ridiculously tasty with Tempeh, grill veggies, and the works, it's so big it takes me two sessions to finish it.

Right across the street from Pipeline is Sunset Elementary School. Every Saturday they have a farmers market with organics and arts and crafts. Harvey is a Chinese Hawaiian man that always had a beautiful smile on his face and a sparkle of good living in his eyes. One day I asked him what he did with so much Turmeric. He told me it was great for inflammation and the immune system. He said to boil water for tea and grade the turmeric in the cup and a spoon of honey.
