New Ashtanga Yoga Class with Melanie
I’d like to extend a warm welcome and ALOHA to our newest yoga instructor, Melanie Dagenais. She’ll be teaching Ashtanga Yoga at 5pm on Wednesday – be sure to check our schedule for the latest classes. Originally from Montreal, Melanie has been studying and practicing Ashtanga Yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2002. She is also studying macrobiotic lifestyle and cooking, earning her first degree in Boston. Melanie is passionate about health, healing and sharing positive energy through yoga practice.
Ashtanga practices synchronizing Ujjayi breath with a progressive series of postures, producing internal heat, profuse sweat, detoxifying muscles and internal organs, improving circulation, relieving stress, and strengthening the body.
