COLOMBIA MORE THAN A HOLIDAY Aura Boulton, from Venezuela, a surfer, environmentalist, lover of life, and passionate for change in our quick and easy fast pace way of living. Her mother Aurita Siso, now living in Colombia in a small but beautiful apartment overlooking the harbor in Cartagena. Aura spent the Christmas and New Year holiday’s at her mom’s with her sister Claudia and nephew Alex. She asked me to come and visit in the new year and see what is was like in Colombia. Pascuales, Mexico Surf Retreat

Pascuales, Mexico is a destination a couple of friends have been wanting to share with me. Big barreling sand bar waves for days. Warm water, sunny days, starry nights, and amazing tacos. I went down with a good friend from Venezuela, Aurita Boulton. She founded a foundation for kids with a close friend in Venezuela. They teach the kids about gardening, wellness, and surfing. We both have a great interest in learning how to be more sustainable and share what we learn with the youth in particular to inspire the next generation. We spent a couple of weeks exploring, surfing, relaxing, eating amazing food, cooking, reading, doing yoga, and mingling with the locals. We became close to the familia we stayed with on the beach front to one of the heaviest sand bars I have ever surfed. In the next…

Billabong Kids at Off The Wall

Working with kids is amazing. There is always so much to share and learn from them. As much as I inspire them, they inspire me. As I teach I learn. These kids are from around the world and will be some of the best surfers on the world tour some day soon. To be able to share yoga with them, my experience as a surfer through out my career with victory, defeat, injury, recovery, health, energy, and dynamic performance, is an honor. When I was there age none of this was available. To share with them information of body dynamics with breathe, structural movement, meditation, water, salt, and the power of awareness is a gift. Sharing information is feeding light energy and creating awareness for our kids, communities, our oceans, and this earth. It makes me aware of how much…
