Amanda Gordines, a qualified and experienced acupuncturist and massage therapist, has a love and gift in the healing arts. She has studied and practices Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and is certified in Classical Five Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Classical Five Elemental Acupuncture in Santa Monica. Mandy has studied various styles of massage from Cranial Sacral Therapy, Lomi Lomi, Thai, Pregnancy, and a variety of other techniques, allowing her to integrate and customize her treatments according to what is called for in the moment. She has a deep love for the ocean. She received an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Delaware and did a student exchange to the University of the Virgin Islands for a year studying Marine Biology. Mandy moved to Kauai in 1999. She interned at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Poipu. Where she shortly after met and married Hoku Gordines, Rochelle’s brother. They now have three beautiful children and enjoy many days at the beach and in the ocean. She has spent years paddling six man canoe and has crossed a few large channels of water including the channel between Newport Beach and Catalina Island, Molokai to Oahu and the Pialolo Channel. She and Hoku have hiked many trails on Kauai together as well as enjoying some quality travel time in diverse countries and cultures.
