Meet Your SUP Guides
Hoku Gordines grew up with a sense of adventure that many Kaua'i born residents experience. He's adventured through deep country hiking in the Mountains of Wai'ale'ale, Koke'e, Waimea Canyon, Napali Coast and Kahili Mountain at the top of the Oma'o Moku. From paddling the the Napali coast on SUP, kayak and six man outrigger canoe to venturing into the heart of Kaua'i on trails that are no longer on the map, Hoku exemplifies the definition of adventure. Hoku has spent time snowboarding, surfing and paddling around the country. He lived in Lake Tahoe, East Coast Bethany Beach and Southern California Solana Beach over the years. He's accomplished world travel adventures to South Africa, Alaska, China, Japan, Tibet and over 40 state and national parks in the U.S. Hoku has studied the healing arts since 1999 and began his journey into the art of massage at the age of fifteen. With a background of martial arts, theater arts, yoga and licensed massage therapy, Hoku has returned home to the beautiful island of Kaua'i to continue his pursuit of adventure, surf daily and enjoy a life of health and wellness with his three children and wife, Amanda. She also pursued the healing arts and is a licensed massage therapist and acupuncturist.
